Casters is a collaborative storytelling experience operated by Lum LLC, a Wyoming Series LLC, published as Series 01 (“Casters”). By using Casters at loot.castergames.xyz or via the Farcaster Mini App (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are 18+ and that your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
Casters lets you connect a Farcaster account, claim or use in-world characters, and participate in stories narrated by an AI persona called Aelia. Narration is fictional and generated by large language models. Nothing Aelia says is advice of any kind, financial, legal, medical, or otherwise.
Access requires a Farcaster account. We do not store passwords. Authentication relies on Farcaster’s signed messages and your wallet. You are responsible for the security of your own Farcaster account and wallet.
Casters characters may be minted as ERC-721 tokens on Base at contract 0xC26626B635640181B0E65b8Dbe65C9B3BFA19733. When you mint or purchase a character NFT:
NFT ownership grants no governance, equity, profit-share, or revenue right. Characters are art and gameplay objects, not investments. Smart contract risk, wallet loss, network failures, and market volatility are entirely your risk.
When you submit content, character names, character descriptions, story choices, votes, replies, you grant Lum LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, perpetual license to use, store, display, and incorporate that content into the Service and into derivative narrative work. You represent that your submissions do not infringe anyone’s rights.
Do not use Casters to harass, threaten, dox, or harm others. Do not submit content that is illegal, sexually exploitative of minors, or designed to manipulate the AI into harmful output. Do not probe or exploit our infrastructure. We may remove content and suspend accounts at our discretion.
Aelia and other narrator agents produce text via third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic). Output is best-effort, may be wrong, strange, or unintended, and is provided as-is. Do not treat AI output as fact.
The Service relies on Farcaster, Base, Anthropic, OpenAI (moderation), Neynar, Supabase, Vercel, Reservoir, and others. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or policy changes at any of them.
The Service is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of AI output, or the future value or playability of any NFT. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lum LLC disclaims all implied warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lum LLC’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Lum LLC in the prior 12 months or (b) USD $100.
You agree to indemnify Lum LLC against claims arising from your use of the Service, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service at any time. NFT ownership in your wallet is unaffected by termination of Service access.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-product or on the Service’s website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Wyoming, except for small claims and equitable relief.
